NewPro-Silicone Remover was developed as a special product for the gentle and environmentally safe removal of silicone remains on enamel, glass, glazed ceramic, metal as well as a wide range of other surfaces without the need to attack the coated surface and is equally suitable for the removal of difficult-to-remove greases, fats, oils and waxes.

Product Characteristics/Features

NewPro-Silicone Remover exhibits the following characteristics and features:

Instruction for Application and Use

Surface Preparation/Pre-cleaning:

All surfaces should be free of grease, oil, dirt and dust, dry and sustainable.

1. As usual, thoroughly remove all large soiling and loose particles.

In the event of extreme soiling or dirt, repeat this step until the particles and soiling is removed.

2. Remove thick layers of silicone or calk with a blade or completely cut out.

Application:

1. Apply an undiluted amount of NewPro-Silicone Remover in proportion to the degree of soiling to the cleaned surface

2. Leave standing and allow NewPro-Silicone Remover to take effect for up to 10 minutes

3. After the time required to take effect, rub off the dissolved remains from the surface using a non-abrasive sponge or scraper

4. Finally, clean the surface with NewPro-Combo Cleaner or NewPro-Suface Cleaner following the instructions for these products.

Warning:

Do not allow NewPro-Silicone Remover to dry to the surface to be cleaned.

Notice:

NewPro-Silicone Remover has a wide range of applications. It is, therefore, recommended that a test be made to the surface to determine the suitability and durability of the product to the surface. NewPro-Silicone Remover is not designed to be used on marble and other non-absorbent surfaces.

Machine Application:

NewPro-Silicone Remover can be applied using a standard airless spraying device.

Pay careful attention to the operating instructions of the manufacturer of the equipment, as well as the mixing instructions.

Mixing Instructions:

NewPro-Silicone Remover comes ready to use. A mixture with water or other foreign substances has a negative effect on the characteristics of the product as well as the cleaning performance.

Use:

• An exact amount of required material for the intended purpose is to be determined with a test application.

Required Conditions for Use/Application

Application and drying can be effectuated with a surface and area temperature between a min. +5°C and max. +30°C. NewPro-Silicone Remover should not be applied under direct sunlight at temperatures over +25°C.

Time to Take Effect:

• Up to 10 minutes.

Depending upon the degree of dirt or soiling and the structure of the surface.

Warning:

Do not allow NewPro-Silicone Remover dry onto the surface to be cleaned.

Cleaning of Tools:

• Clean immediately after use with a lot of clean water.

Transport:

• Product is unlabeled and is non-hazardous.

Storage:

• Can be stored at room temperature for at least 6 months in the original closed packaging

• Protect against moisture, frost and heat.

Disposal:

• Dispose of product remains at an officially designated disposal site

• Do not dispose of the product in the public sewage system or domestic drains

• Recycle only completely emptied containers.

Work Hygiene

Before breaks and at the end working with the product, wash hands thoroughly. Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid eye and skin contact with the product. If necessary, wear protective clothing. The use of a breathing protection device is required. And, it is recommended that nitrile rubber, or other suitable, gloves be worn.

Safety Precautions

Keep away from children. Keep containers sealed tightly closed. In the event of eye contact, immediately flush eyes out with lots of clean water. In the event of skin contact, wash skin thoroughly with water and soap. If necessary, seek medical advice. Do not smoke during application and use. If swallowed seek immediate medical advice and show the packaging or product label to the treating physician.
