Open
porous stone surfaces react sensitively to grease, oil and other dirt and grime
deposits, which can easily permeate these surfaces. The raw surfaces absorb dirt
and grime, which cause unattractive and optically visible spots and stains. Even
with intense cleaning, these kinds of stubborn stains cannot be removed.
Therefore, a long-lasting dirt repellent protection of these surfaces is needed.

Nano StonePlus with
Antigraffiti Protection was conceived so that the accumulation of dirt and grime is
reduced and the damage caused by environmental impact is avoided. As a result of
the hydrophobic / oleophobic effect of the protective coating, dirt and grime
particles such as grease and oily substances, calk and substances from the
environmental impact can no longer permeate and be absorbed by the stone
surface. Dirt particles are easy to remove, without the need for abrasive
cleaning solvents or cleaning devices. Due to the inorganic network, the coating
is extremely durable. With the aid of special products from our product line
allow a simple hygienic and environmentally safe cleaning of the stone surface
coated with NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection. |

Product
Description
|

NewPro-Nano StonePlus with
Antigraffiti Protection comes dissolved in water and ready to use. With the
application of the coating, nanoscale particles bond with the surface
structure. Through a chemical reaction in which silicon functional groups
form a firm bond with the stone surface and give the stone surface a long
lasting protective effect. |

Other functional groups lead
to strongly distinctive hydro- and oleophobic properties, which correspond
to easy care and maintenance.
The special advantage of NewPro-Nano StonePlus
with Antigraffiti Protection lies in the fact the chemical
reaction creates a transverse cross-linking. This transverse cross-linking
achieves a pronounced sturdy two and three-dimensional network chemical
structure.
A coating of a stone surface,
which has already been treated with silicon or acrylic products, does not allow
NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection take effect because the nano
coating cannot effectively permeate the stone surface

of Application and Use
|

NewPro-Nano StonePlus with
Antigraffiti Protection can be applied to interior or exterior as well as horizontal
surfaces. Due to its formulation,
NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection is suitable for absorbent silica
based stone surfaces. It can, therefore, be successfully applied as a
dirt-deflecting, UV-stable coating to the following stone surfaces:
The product
can also be applied to floors and wall coverings, building facades, functional
terracotta or roofing tiles. The stone surfaces also maintain their breathing
properties after coating.
NewPro-Nano StonePlus with
Antigraffiti Protection covers a wide range of applications. For this reason, we
recommend that a test to the surface be carried out to determine the suitability
for the intended purpose. The surface coating should be applied immediately
after the preparation and pre-cleaning of the surface and should no longer be
touched. |

Procedural Instructions for
Use
|
|
Surface preparation/pre-cleaning:
All surfaces should be grease, oil
and dust particle free, dry and sustainable.
-
Large and rough dirt or soiling
and lose partials, as usual, should be thoroughly removed.
In the event of extreme soiling or
dirt, repeat this step again.
NewPro Nano StonePlus with
Antigraffiti Protection comes ready to use and apply.
We recommend that the product be
applied using a spraying device. The best results are achieved using an HVLP-nozzle.
Very small spray droplets can be achieved using this nozzle. An application to
freshly formed and still wet substrates is likewise possible. NewPro-Nano
StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection can be applied using an industrial spraying device or manually
spraying the stone surface.

Application (Manual Spraying):
Prior to application, the surface,
which is to be coated, must be completely cleaned, dry and free of grease. For
large surfaces, NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection should be applied in a square meter
fashion. For manual spraying, make sure that the surface coating is sprayed
twice (wet on wet). Depending upon the porosity of the substrate, it may also be
necessary that the procedure be repeated.
An even, material-saving
application of the product can be achieved using air pressure or an electrically
operated spraying device. Stone surfaces should be sprayed and dampened with
fine material mist. The formation of a puddle on the substrate, should, however,
be avoided.

Evenly spray NewPro-Nano StonePlus with
Antigraffiti Protection to the
surface.
Immediately after contact
NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection permeates the pores of the surface.

Leave the coated surface to dry for 2 - 5 minutes.
-
Remove or even spread any leftover material, if necessary, using a lamb skin
roll.

Notice:
NewPro-Nano StonePlus with
Antigraffiti Protection can be
applied to a wide variety of surfaces. For this reason, we recommend that a test
be applied to the surface in order to determine the suitability of the product
for its intended purpose. The surface should be coated immediately subsequent to
pre-cleaning and the pre-coated surface should not be touched by hands.

Mixing
Instructions:
NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection comes ready to use dissolved in
water and can be directly applied to the surface. A mixture with foreign
substances has a negative effect on the product properties as well as the life
of the product and the applied protective surface coating. |
|
Further instructions regarding
application techniques:
Along with spraying, the product
can be applied using immersion, painting or application using a lambskin roll.
But, usually using these applications methods one can expect to need a large
amount of product material.
|
|
Curing Times:
Complete curing is achieved with a
dry substrate between 12-24 hours (area temperature of +20°Celsius). At other
temperatures, there may be a variation in curing times.
|

An exact amount of material use
should be determined using a coating test to the surface. |

The quality of the surface
protection is designed to last for many years. In the event that this is not the
case, and the surface protective coating shows signs of damage after longer use,
this can be repaired using NewPro-Nano Active Protection-Stone.

Cleaning and Maintenance of the
Coated Surface:
Thanks to the extraordinary ease
of care NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection offers, a clean and maintained surface appearance
can be achieved without the need for aggressive cleaners and abrasive cleaning
machines. Surfaces coated with NewPro-Nano StonePlus with Antigraffiti
Protection remain unchanged in their
structure and color, homogeneous and stabile and as a result are resistant
against all usual household acids and leachates. Therefore, NewPro-Nano
StonePlus with Antigraffiti Protection offers an effective protection against graffiti.
For routine maintenance, we
recommend the use of a soft, non-abrasive sponge or towel and the NewPro-Surface
Cleaner. For strong soiling, dirt and grime, we always recommend the use
of NewPro-Combo Cleaner (ratio 1:30).

with Antigraffiti Protection surface
protection we also offer an efficient after-care maintenance program.

Caution:
The application of very aggressive
cleaning solvents, such as scouring milk or scouring powder cleaners, highly
concentrated drain cleaners, polishes, fixture and steel cleaners as well as
powder bathroom cleaners, which can damage the surface coating, should be
absolutely avoided. Surfaces damaging scouring cleaning machines are also not to
be used.
The quality of the surface
protection is designed to last for many years. In the even this is not the case
and the surface protective coating is shows sign of damage after long use, this
can be repaired using NewPro-Nano Aktive Protection (refreshener/refurbisher).
