Graffiti Magic is a one-of-a-kind external total coating, which was specially developed as the best possible protection against graffiti as well as wild and unwanted postering. As a permanent solution, a single coating allows any kind of graffiti to be repeatedly removed with water without requiring any additional cleaning solutions in 85% of cases. Posters either cannot be stuck to surfaces coated with the Graffiti Magic protection, or after the adhesive has dried, the posters can be easily peeled off and removed from the surfaces.

Range of Application and Use

Graffiti Magic is designed for a wide variety of surfaces. The matt version of Graffiti Magic is especially effective on surfaces which are difficult to protect, for example, brick masonry or smooth surface structures.

Graffiti Magic was developed for protection on the following surfaces:

• Brick

• Concrete

• Masonry

• Plaster

• Porous stone

• Pretreated and coated or painted surfaces

• Wood.

Graffiti Magic can also be applied to most externally applied paint coatings. However, we recommend that Graffiti Magic be not applied to polymer resin paints.

For surfaces of synthetic materials and painted or coated synthetic materials, as well as, metals, we recommend Special Poster Magic.

Caution:

The application of Graffiti Magic can possibly cause open porous surfaces to darken when painted. In order to minimize this, we recommend that you use our specially designed coating primer Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer, which is applied to the surface prior to the final coat of Graffiti Magic.

Product Characteristics

One complete coating of Graffiti Magic offers a long-lasting protection against graffiti and rampant and wild unwanted postering.

Graffiti Magic is available in two variations. Graffiti Magic (matt) and Poster Magic (gloss) are offered in order to minimize the changes in appearance, which through a coating of graffiti protection can occur on the protected surface. Poster Magic is specially designed for synthetic materials and surfaces coated with synthetic materials as well as metals.

Graffiti Magic is distinguished by the following product characteristics:

Instructions Regarding Use

Surface Preparation:

Graffiti Magic is a clear and colorless coating. Therefore, before Graffiti Magic can be used, every trace of graffiti must be removed or painted over. Make sure that the surface to be coated is clean, dry and free from loose substances of materials.

To get rid of hard to remove graffiti or residue without harming the Graffiti Magic protective coating, we recommend graffiti remover product Blue.

Use/Application:

In order to reach an optimal quality of coating, two coats of Graffiti Magic is usually applied over Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer or a coating of paint. It can, however, also be applied directly over a clean surface or an existing coating on the surface. With very open porous surfaces, 3 coats can be required. Pay attention to the following special instructions:

1. Fully stir Graffiti Magic prior to application or use.

2. Apply a coating of Graffiti Magic using a paintbrush or roll brush or an airless/spray device. The coating should be applied from one side from right to left or vice versa, overlapping thin fluid with low viscosity.

• When spraying be careful not to spray the adjacent surfaces.

3. Subsequent to applying the first coat, let coating completely dry.

4. 4. Subsequent to drying, a second coating can be applied following the instructions in point number 1.

• Porous surfaces should be sealed with Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer prior to application of Graffiti Magic. This avoids the darkening of the surface and reduces the amount of Graffiti Magic or Poster Magic needed.

Mixing Instructions:

Graffiti Magic is a solvent naphtha based product and can be applied in a similar way as the usual cleaning based lacquer.

If necessary, dilute Graffiti Magic with up to 10% solvent naptha.

Machine Application:

Graffiti Magic can be applied using a standard Airless/Spray device.

Notice:

Graffiti Magic covers a wide field of application. It is recommended, however, for the user to carry out a test to determine the surface for the suitability and stability for the intended purpose.

Use:

• Approximately 100 ml to 125ml per 1 m, or 8-10 m per 1 liter.

This is simply a recommended standard, which in end effect depends on the layer of thickness as well as the absorbency of the surface area structure of the surface.

An exact amount of material needed can only be determined by a sample coating on the surface of the object.

Notice:

Porous surfaces should be sealed with a coating of Graffiti Magic-Sealer/Primer.
This avoids the darkening of the surface and reduces the amount of Graffiti Magic or Poster Magic needed.

To get rid of hard to remove graffiti or residue without harming the Graffiti Magic protective coating, we recommend graffiti remover product Blue.

Required Conditions for Use

Graffiti Magic must only be applied in open air or in a well-ventilated room.

Graffiti Magic can only be used and applied when the surface and the air temperature lies between min. + 5° Celsius and max. + 30° Celsius. Graffiti Magic is not to be applied when surface and air temperatures are under + 5° Celsius. .

With temperatures over + 25° Celsius Graffiti Magic is not to be applied under direct sunlight.

Drying Times:

• at approximately 20°C, requires approximately 1 to 5 minutes drying time.

Graffiti Magic is a product which dries under humid conditions and immediately begins to dry when it comes into contact with air humidity/moisture. The rate at which it dries depends on the actual temperature and humidity.

Therefore, only as much as needed to work between 30 to 60 minutes should be bottled and after that it should be immediately covered.

Notice:

When Graffiti Magic is mixed with water, it immediately begins to dry. If possible, open containers should be used up on the same day and should no longer be stored.

Cleaning of Tools:

Brushes and Roll brushes should immediately be washed out after the slightest uses with brush cleaner or strong paint thinner. After more extensive use, brushes and brush rolls should be disposed of. Airless-/Spray devices should be thouroughly washed out with petroleum and strong water jet or with high-pressure cleaner.

Transport:

• Unlabeled and non-hazardous.

Storage:

• cool, frost-free, in original closed package with a shelf life of approximately 1 year

• keep away from direct sunlight and protect against extreme heat.

Disposal:

• disposal of the remains of the product at the local waste disposal site

• do not dispose of in the sewer system drainage systems because Graffiti Magic immediately dries upon contact with water

• recycle only completely emptied and cleaned containers.

Work Hygiene

Before breaks and at the end working with the product, wash hands thoroughly.
Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid eye and skin contact with the product. Wear protective clothing and a breathing apparatus during use or application.

Safety Precautions

Keep away from children. Keep containers sealed tightly closed. In the event of eye contact, immediately flush eyes out with water. In the event of skin contact, wash skin thoroughly with water and soap. Do not apply solvents or cleaning detergents.
If necessary, seek the advice of a doctor or physician. Do not smoke during application and use. If swallowed seek immediate medical advice and show the packaging or product label to the treating physician.
