Product Description

NewPro-ZA Coating Leather- and Textile Back Coating is a high-quality liquid leather and textile back coating, which, after drying, forms a high-quality protective layer with high adhesive strength.

Range of Application and Use

NewPro-ZA Coating Leather- and Textile Back Coating exhibits the required weather and aging resistance required in the field of automobile technology. NewPro-ZA Coating Leather- and Textile Back Coating has so far been applied to foam-backing of leather interiors of upper class cars produced by world-renowned automobile companies. The surface properties such as color, surface feeling or grain are preserved and the high binding strength provide for a strong adhesion between leathers, textiles and other materials.

Product Description

For leathers, textiles and similar materials, which require a quality in the feeling of the surface and appearance, but are exposed to chemical and mechanical stress (e.g. with foam-backing), the coating protects against chemical and physical changes in the leather. Areas of application include the foam-backing of leather interiors of upper-class cars of world-renowned automobile companies.

Further product characteristics include:

• Color, surface feel and grain remain preserved

• Easy application – can be applied in liquid form

• Fast drying times

• Prevents discoloration of the leather from foam formation and other processes

• Ready to use as delivered (container sizes 1, 5 and 10 liters)

• Seals and protects the backing of leathers against aggressive chemicals and mechanical or movement stress

• Shelf-life of approximately 6 months

• Strong adhesive power offers a good bonding of leather, textiles and other materials.

Instructions Regarding Use/Application

Surface Preparation:

All surfaces must be sustainable, clean and free from loose materials or materials which negatively influence adhesion, as required for the corresponding use or application.

Application:

NewPro-ZA Coating Leather- and Textile Back Coating should be applied using a clean paintbrush to the cleaned surface. The formation of film occurs after drying through water evaporation.

Machine/Mechanical Application:

Regarding machine processing of NewPro-ZA Coating Leather- and Textile Back Coating we ask that you contact our technical department for instructions.

Mixing Instructions:

NewPro-ZA Coating Leather- and Textile Back Coating is directly applicable. An admixture of water or other foreign substances negatively affects the product properties as well as the life span of the product and the applied protective coating.

Material Requirements:

Exact materials requirements are to be determined by a sample coating.

Product Durability

NewPro-ZA Coating Leather- and Textile Back Coating exhibits resistance to weathering and aging properties demanded by the automobile industry.

Form of Delivery

Packing Units:

• Packing unit 1 bottle      (1 liter)

• Packing unit 1 canister   (5 liters)

• Packing unit 1 canister (10 liters).

Further bundle sizes are available on request.

Color:

• Colorless, in dried condition colorless.

Special Notices

Transport:

• Unlabeled and non-hazardous.

Storage:

• Cool, frost-free, in original closed package for a shelf life of approximately 6 months.

Work Hygiene

Before breaks and at the end working with the product, wash hands thoroughly.
Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid eye and skin contact with the product. If necessary, wear protective clothing.

Safety Precautions

Keep away from children. Keep containers sealed tightly closed. In the event of eye contact, immediately flush eyes out with a lot of water.
