Product Description

NewPro-GS 204 Graffiti Protection System is a temporary protective film for smooth hard stone surfaces against marking pens, graffiti and other contamination or soiling to the surface.

Range of Application and Use

NewPro-GS 204 Graffiti Protection System is applied using a temporary protective film against marking pens, graffiti and other soiling or contamination on easily absorbent polished natural stone such as:

• Granite

• Marble.

Product Characteristics

NewPro-GS 204 Graffiti Protection System is a protective film, which is based on a water vapor porous silane-micro-wax mixture, which prevent paints, dirt, soiling and other foreign substances to penetrate the stone and can be easily washed off using a solvent (Acetone) and an absorbent towel. The easy-cleaning properties last for 3-4 times without the need for a new coating.

Adhesive basis:

• Silane with heterosaccaride parts.

Diffusion resistence:

• < 0.1.

Instructions Regarding Use/Application

Surface preparation:

All surfaces must be sustainable, clean and free from lose particles or particles which would impair adhesion, as the area of application requires.

Mixing Instructions:

The concentration (approximately 1,000ml) depending upon application.

• 1:5 (e.g. polished granite) to

• 1:7 (e.g. cut granite) mixed with water, stirred and processed.

Application:

NewPro-GS 204 Graffiti Protection System can be applied to the surface using an airless spraying device or foam roller.

Two coats are to be applied, evenly and completely. The second coating can be applied after approximately 30-60 minutes of drying time.

Notice:

During application and drying times, protect the surface coating from rain.

Machine application:

NewPro-GS 204 Graffiti Protection System can be applied using a standard airless spraying device.

Graffiti removal:

Contamination or soiling is to be removed with a solvent (Acetone) and an absorbent towel. Please pay careful attention to the corresponding safety precautions.

Use:

• Each layer/coating approximately 25 to 50 ml per m².

This is only an estimation, which depends on the actual absorbency of the surface, which may vary.

An exact amount of material needed should be determined by applying a test coating to the surface of the object.

Required Conditions for Use/Application

The application and drying requires a surface and area temperature between min. +5°C and max. +30°C.

The material is not to be applied in direct sunlight at temperatures over +25°C.

Drying times:

• At approximately 20°C and 80 % Humidity

• Touch dry approx.                      30 Min.

• Ready for new coating         approx. 1 Hr.

• Completely dry                approx. 12 Hrs.

Depending upon temperature and relative humidity.

Notice:

During application and drying times, protect the surface coating from rain.

Cleaning of tools:

• In freshly used condition, clean with water.

Form of Delivery

Units Per Package:

• 1000 ml Concentrate

• Units per Package S = 5 bottles or

• Units per Package M = 15 bottles.

Color:

• Milky, in a dry colorless condition.

Special Instructions

Transport:

• Unlabeled and non-hazardous.

Storage:

• In mixed condition at cooler temperatures (approx. +5°C to +15°C) and frost-protected storage, product has an approximate shelf life of six days

• Cool, frost-protected, in original closed package, product has a shelf life of approximately 1 year.

Work Hygiene

Before breaks and at the end working with the product, wash hands thoroughly.

Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid eye and skin contact with the product.

If necessary, wear protective clothing.

Safety Precautions

Keep away from children. Keep containers sealed tightly closed. In the event of eye contact, immediately flush eyes out with water. In the event of skin contact, wash skin thoroughly with water and soap. Do not smoke during application and use.
If swallowed seek immediate medical advice and show the packaging or product label to the treating physician.
