Product Description

NewPro-GS 206 Graffiti Protection System is a sacrificial layer to protect synthetic material and coated or lacquered metal surfaces, which prevents the contamination from graffiti.

Range of Application and Use

NewPro-GS 206 Graffiti Protection System is applied as a protective film (temporary separable layer) against graffiti on synthetic materials, coated or lacquered subsurfaces such as:

• Containers

• Facade coverings

• Machine parts

• Railed vehicles

• Synthetic material surfaces.

Product Characteristics

NewPro-GS 206 Graffiti Protection System is a sacrificial lawyer, which is based on a water vapor porous micro-wax. Paints, contamination or soiling stick to the sacrificial layer.

Further characteristics include:

• Fast drying times

• Firedamp solid

• UV-stabile

• Water proof/repellent

• Weather resistant.

• Approximately 1 g/cm³.

Instructions Regarding Use/Application

Surface preparation:

All surfaces must be sustainable, clean and free from lose particles or particles which would impair adhesion, as the area of application requires.

Application:

NewPro-GS 206 Graffiti Protection System can be applied to all appropriate surfaces using a micro fiber towel.

It is to be applied in one evenly spread coating.

Use:

• Approximately 10 to 50 ml per m².

This is only an estimation, which depends on the actual absorbency of the surface, which may vary.

An exact amount of material needed should be determined by applying a test coating to the surface of the object.

Graffiti Removal:

Contaminated or soiled surfaces can be simply cleaned with hot water (min. 60°C/max. 80°C) and a high pressure cleaner (50 – 80 Bar).

For the removal in the indoors/interior, where hot water and steam cannot be applied (e.g. busses or trains), we offer an appropriate product. (See also graffiti remover for marking pens on synthetic materials and lacquered surfaces).

Because the NewPro-GS 206 Graffiti Protection System is a temporary protective film, the cleaned surface must be protected subsequently with NewPro-GS 206 Graffiti Protection System.

Required Conditions for Use/Application

The application and drying requires a surface and area temperature between min. +5°C and max. +30°C.

During application and drying times, protect the surface coating from rain.

Drying times:

• At approximately 20°C and 80 % humidity

• Ready for new coat exterior after approximately 1 hr.

• Ready for new coat interior after approximately 15 to 20 min.

Depending upon temperature and relative humidity.

Cleaning of tools:

• In freshly used condition, clean with water.

Form of Delivery

Units Per Package:

• Units Per Package S with 10 x 1 Litre

• Units Per Package M with 20 x 1 Litre.

Color:

• Milky, in a dry colorless condition.

Special Instructions

Transport:

• Unlabeled and non-hazardous.

Storage:

• In mixed condition at cooler temperatures (approx. +5°C to +15°C) and frost-protected storage, product has an approximate shelf life of six days

• Cool, frost-protected, in original closed package, product has a shelf life of approximately 1 year.
