Product Description

NewPro-GS 207 Graffiti Protection System is a sacrificial layer to protect absorbent stone surfaces against, which prevents the penetration of graffiti contamination.

Range of Application and Use

NewPro-GS 207 Graffiti Protection System is applied as a protective film (temporary separable layer) against graffiti on absorbent surfaces such as:

• Brick

• Cement and calk plaster

• Clinker

• Sand stone

• Thermo plaster.

Product Characteristics

NewPro-GS 207 is a sacrificial layer based on water vapor-permeable Heterosacharyden and micro paraffins. Paints, contamination or soiling stick to the sacrificial layer.

Further characteristics include:

• Durability of the protective effect under normal weather conditions lasts up to 5 years

• Easy to use

• Firedamp solid

• UV-stabile

• Weather resistant

• Water proof/repellent (protects the surface from moistures).

• Microwax.

Specific weight:

• Approximately 0.89g/cm³.

Instructions Regarding Use/Application

Surface preparation:

All surfaces must be sustainable, clean and free from lose particles or particles which would impair adhesion, as the area of application requires.

Mixing Instructions:

Mix the contents of the component A (powder) with 9 liters of water free of clumps.

Subsequently, mix in component B (1 liter bottle). Let the finished mixture stand for 10 to 25 minutes.

Application:

Contaminated or soiled surfaces can be simply cleaned with hot water (min. +75°C/ max. +90°C) and a high pressure cleaner (50 – 80 Bar).

For the removal in the indoors/interior, where hot water and steam cannot be applied the cleaning solvent NewPro-GE 900 can be used. On appropriate surfaces, NewPro-GS 207 Graffiti Protection System can be applied using a spraying device. Two evenly applied layers or coats should be applied

Because the NewPro-GS 207 Graffiti Protection System is a temporary protective film, the cleaned surface must be protected subsequently with NewPro-GS 207 Graffiti Protection System.

Machine application:

NewPro-GS 207 Graffiti Protection System can be applied using a standard airless spraying device.

Use:

• Approximately 80 to 250 ml per m².

This is only an estimation, which depends on the actual absorbency of the surface, which may vary.

An exact amount of material needed should be determined by applying a test coating to the surface of the object.

Required Conditions for Use/Application

The application and drying requires a surface and area temperature between min. +5°C and max. +30°C.

Drying times:

• At approximately 20°C and 80 % humidity depending on the thickness of the layer

• Ready for new coat exterior Approximately 1 hr

• Ready for new coat interior Approximately 15 to 20 min.

During application and drying times, protect the surface coating from rain.

Cleaning of tools:

• In freshly used condition, clean with water.

Units Per Package:

• Units Per Package S with 10 x 1 Liter.

Special Instructions

Transport:

• Unlabeled and non-hazardous.

Storage:

• Cool, frost-protected, in original closed package, product has a shelf life of approximately 1 year.

Work Hygiene

Before breaks and at the end working with the product, wash hands thoroughly.

Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid eye and skin contact with the product.

If necessary, wear protective clothing.
