Product Description

NewPro-Nano Wood is an aqueous inorganic-organic coating material for untreated wood based on chemical nanotechnology. Self-organizing anti-adhesive components offer untreated wood surfaces an invisible layer with hydrophobic and oleophobic (water, grease and oil repellent) characteristics.

Range of Application and Use

NewPro-Nano Wood has a wide variety of applications around the house and garden on many untreated open porous, absorbent wood surfaces, such as:

• Garden furniture (tropical and teak woods)

• Garden houses, sheds

• Plywood

• Untreated wood, such as birch, beech, oak, pine, etc.

• Wood fences.

NewPro-Nano Wood can also be applied to many other surfaces such as cork.

Product Characteristics

NewPro-Nano Wood offers protected surfaces grease, oil, dirt, grime and water repellent characteristics and is distinguished by its easy to clean properties.

Instructions Regarding Use/Application

Surface preparation/pre-cleaning:

All surfaces should be grease, oil and dust particle free, dry and sustainable.

1. As usual, large and rough dirt or soiling and loose particles should be thoroughly removed.

For extreme soiling, repeat the steps above.

2. Let the surface completely dry before the application of NewPro-Nano Wood sealant and do not touch with fingers.

Surface Coating/Application:

The surface to be coated must be completely cleaned and grease free prior to the application.

1. Spray NewPro-Nano Wood thickly onto the surface and evenly spread with a brush or roller.

2. Let NewPro-Nano Wood dry until fluid or product remains are no longer visible.

Notice:

NewPro-Nano Wood covers a wide range of applications. For this reason, we recommend that a test be applied to the surface in order to determine the suitability of the product for its intended purpose. The coating should be immediately applied after pre-cleaning and should no longer be touched.

Improvement and New Surface Coatings:

By the abatement of the protective characteristics, repeat the steps described above.

Cleaning of the coated surface:

NewPro-Nano Wood is a permanent protective system. Soiling, dirt and grime, and dry residue can be removed with a moist towel.

Caution:

NewPro-Nano Wood und Stein is not to be applied together with chloric cleaning solutions. There is the possibility of the formation of poisonous vapors.

Mixing Instructions:

NewPro-Nano Wood can be directly applied and is not mixable with water or other substances. A mixture with foreign substances can have a negative effect on the characteristics of the product as well as the durability or lifespan of the product and the coated surface.

Use:

• Approximately 100 - 200 ml/m.

This is simply an estimation, which can vary depending upon the absorbency of the surface.

An exact amount of material required should be determined by a test on the intended surface.

Required Conditions for Use/Application

The application and drying requires a surface and area temperature between min. +5°C and max. +30°C. NewPro-Nano Wood und Stein is not to be applied under direct sunlight at temperatures over +25°C. Do not apply at temperatures under +5ºC. During application and drying times, protect the surface coating from rain.

Caution:

NewPro-Nano Wood is not to be applied to surfaces which can reach temperatures over +180°C, otherwise the coating surface layer can become brittle and damaged.

Drying Times:

• +10°C approximately 6 h

• +20°C approximately 4 h

• +30°C approximately 3 h.

The complete protective characteristics of NewPro-Nano Wood occur after 24 hours of drying, depending upon the temperature and the relative humidity.

Cleaning of tools:

• In freshly used condition, clean with water.

Delivery Form

Units Per Package:

• 100 ml Nanofluid (sealant).

Further types of packaging and sizes are available upon request.

Color:

• Colorless, in a dry condition colorless.

Special Instructions

Transport:

• Unlabeled and non-hazardous.

Storage:

• At room temperature minimum of 6 months when stored in closed original packaging

• Protect against moisture, frost and heat.

Disposal:

• Do not dispose of the product in the public sewage or drainage system

• Only dispose of the remainder of the product at an officially designated disposal site

• Only recycle completely emptied containers or packaging.

Work Hygiene

Before breaks and at the end working with the product, wash hands thoroughly.
Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Avoid eye and skin contact with the product. If necessary, wear protective clothing.
