NewPro - CUS Protection Wax 10

Description

NewPro - CUS Protection Wax 10 is a specially developed sacrificial layer to
protect against penetration of water, soiling, sea water, etc.

Application Areas

NewPro - CUS Protection Wax 10 is used as a protective film or temporary
separating layer at steel or stainless steel surfaces.

Product Properties

NewPro - CUS Protection Wax is a protective layer based on water vapor
permeable micro wax and silicones. Fluids and dirt can not penetrate the
surface.

Processing Instructions

Surface Pre-treatment/Pre-cleaning:
All surfaces should be grease, oil, and dust free, dry and stable and suit
the application area. In case of extreme soiling, repeat cleaning process.

Processing:
Apply CUS Protection Wax 10 to cleaned surface using an Airless device.
Top-dress twice evenly. The overall consumption should be at approx. 120 to
180 g/m2. The exact consumption amount must be calculated from a test
application on the object.

Processing Conditions

Processing and drying can be done at a surface and environment temperature
between +8 oC und max. +30 oC.
Protect area from humidity while drying.

Drying Times:
At 20oC and 60% humidity outside let dry 1 hour before reuse, inside let dry
approx. 60 to 90 minutes. The drying time depends directly on the thickness
of the layer.

Removal of Protective Layer:
The protective layer can be removed using a high-pressure cleaner at min. 85
oC und 80 bar.

• Protect against moisture, frost or heat

Disposal       

• Dispose of product residue at local waste disposal offices
• Do not dispose in local sewer or other effluent system
• Remove product residue completely before recycling containers

Work Hygiene

Before breaks and after finishing product handling wash hands. Do not eat,
drink or smoke while handling product. Avoid eye and skin contact. Wear
protective clothing if necessary. Wearing a protective mask is not
necessary, but it is advised to wear nitrile rubber or other suitable
gloves.

Keep away from children. Keep container closed. In case of eye contact,
rinse off with plenty of water. In case of skin contact, wash off with water
and soap. Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling product. If swallowed
accidentally, consult physician and show container or label.
